Hello i have bought new PC and i need RAID 0 i want to buy 4 HDDs @ 250gb but i am not sure about performance, i mean i doubt RAID controller can support 500mB/s bandwith. Can anyone help me to chose 2xRAID 0(2x250gb) or 1xRAID 0(4x250gb)

raid-0 can be a disaster without a good backup plan.

If at all possible, go with a raid 10; thats a Mirror over a set of Stripes.
At least you get a chance to react without the immediate disaster of a full system restore.

well i had RAID 0 on my old PC but i worry about system crash with 4 hdds plugged and will raid 10 boost performance like raid 0?
