Ok, i have an ASrock P4i45GV as a motherboard with pentium 4.....my question is, will it be compatible if i slotted in a Radeon 9800XT(8X/256mb/256-bit) into it?...cause I'm thingking of buying one('cause of the reviews)....Will the radeon 9800xt be compatible with my current motherboard?.....this are some specs from my pc.....Hard disk:200GB..Power:400watt..Ram:760mb..Windows:XP...Please Help!!!

Well...ummmm...I couldn't say. If your board has an AGP slot at 4X or faster, fine. Otherwise, don't buy it. Also, do you have a fast processor? At least a...maybe......2.2 or better processor speed...otherwise, don't get it. Your CPU will be a data bottleneck, am I correct?

Judging from ASrock's website, I'd say you're good to go with any AGP based card. http://www.asrock.com/product/product_p4i45gv_r5.htm

Now, I'm not sure how much your going to spend on this card, but unless you are getting it for below $100, I wouldn't touch it. Don't get me wrong, I love ATI (my last card was a 9600xt), but for the money, the better card would be the Nvidia Geforce 6600GT. I'm getting it, and it blows any of the 9800 series away. Mine will be here tommorow and I paid $130 for it on newegg.com You can get them for as low as $113 (yes, even the AGP version), like the next link. I would recommend another brand besides Aopen, though.
