Hello.
So here's my problem... Whenever I play video in any program such as: FLC, WMP, Quicktime, and DVD apps, I get a really grainy and non defined picture. Also sometimes my wall paper has the same effect with black levels. Link to screenshot of problem below.

However I get great clarity and deep blacks whenever I run any adobe cs program, 3ds max, or rhino. Weird
Now I have checked many forums, consulted with friends who are far superior in comp knowledge to me, etc. for weeks to no avail for a solution.
I have updated my monitor and graphic drivers completely. I have tweaked with refresh rates, resolutions, color displays, everything and cannot figure it out.
This workstation is only a year old (it's been happening since day one), I should be able to watch video fine. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

GCard: NVidia Quadro FX 570
Procs: Intel Xeon Processor E5540 2.83 GHZ
RAM: 4 GB
