A thread revisited

It was on a XP Pro,on this W7, it has http://applian.com/ which I didn't install. I use videolan.
Is there reason enough to remove it, or not. My scans come up clean, I'm just curious. No extra toolbars either. TIA

If you don't use it, get rid of it. No reason why It should take up space if it isn't being used.
