[A] Windows 7, 2012 antivirus

    I am running a fully legitimate version of Windows 7 Professional that is brand new by only 2 months. I have of course been using Avast anti-virus but when I woke up this morning I had the virus. I already had mal ware installed but it wouldn't fix it. It will not allow me to install any other software and has locked me out of my browsers.

    I downloaded nothing to cause this. I have tried everything and I don't know what to do, I can't even follow your steps because it won't let me run the software.

    Please, any ideas. I need this for class. I take online classes. I am using my old backup desktop right now.
