    Hey all,

My little brother is looking to buy his first PC. He's got a monitor and all the peripherals needed but just needs to buy a tower.

He's looking at something around (AUS)$1,500. I'm more savvy on the networking side of things and don't know too much about computer hardware. Does anyone have any good reccomendations on what parts to get to build a decent computer for something around this price range ?

    Regards
    Ziro

You might want to start by reviewing the Desktop Buying Guide. That should give you a good starting point and a general idea of the relative cost for each type of build.

Mizzou pretty much answered the questions for you. If you have questions on how to build the machine there a couple of guides that will help you out with that on this forum
