All my games crash after a level loads

Alright, whenever I play a game, whether it be Far Cry or Half-Life 2, my entire computer reboots, no blue screen....when i log back on, it says the a system error has occured. I have reinstalled Windows XP home 3 times already, ran checkdisk, bought a new mobo, have ATI Radeon 9550, 8.6 driver version.......1 gb of ddr1 memory, western digital Caviar 160.0 GB, kingston memory, AMD athlon 3400+ motherboard, 2.45 ghz..........the error in the system event viewer says:

Alright, first off you need to disable "Automatic Restart" by going to Control Panel --> System --> Advanced Tab --> Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Under System Failure, remove the check next to Automatic Restart. Now, instead of a hard restart, whatever is causing the problem will throw a blue screen. This may give you a better idea of what is happening. Also, it would be extremely useful to attach the corresponding minidump to this thread. With that, members who have debugging tools can read the dump and tell you exactly what is causing the error.
