i've been helping a friend with an issue on a computer his step-mother gave him. we have replaced the psu and cpu and mem but i can only get the computer to come on once in a great while and it will restart but once i select to shut down the computer and then try to get it to work again it dosen't want to. i was wondering if the next time it comes on if i should try and update the computer OS along with the bios and see if that will work or if i we would be better off just replacing the motherboard all together
