Amd athlon 64 x2 4800+ only 307$ on newegg!! is this a deal or what

Wow, ive been planning on building a computer for the last week or two, its starting to get annoying because i have all the papers printed out and stuff for evry part of my computer, but the athlon 64 x2 4800+ keeps dropping!! haha I've had to print papers like 10 times because its changed soo much. At first I was going to buy the 4600+, but the 4800+ is def. a better price. What do you guys think about it. -Nick

If you wait two years, then that Athlon will cost you virtually nothing

Everything gets cheaper all the time. The question is whether you need that new computer now or later

haha yea. what about the athlon 64 x2 5000+, I've seen it in so many computer magizenes, but where is it?? I cant find it anywhere. I do see an open box one on newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103757R, but its cache is lower then the 4800+. So I looked around and saw a site (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20060320235451.html) that says that its supposed to have 2mb cache. I dont really care if its another hundered dollars or so, but I would like to find it. on that second site it does say it may be available to some customers. Also If they havnt already made alot of these, are they going to still make them with the am2 processors and mobos coming out?. thanks -Nick
