Amd Cpu

    i have an AMD Athlon 2600 i think...today i cleaned the inside of my pc and on my CPU i took the fan and the coolsink off so i can clean the dirt off the sink...i assembled it all back together and now wen i plug in the power lead into the power pack the comp will start automatically and switch off after 5 seconds then i cnt even switch it on. Also the LED doesn't come on

    2 issues:

    You need thermal paste between the heatsink and cpu (this is a must have)
    The heatsink must be mounted firmly (very tight on the cpu)

    I hope you haven't burnt out the cpu!
