Have finished the game and enjoyed playing it muchly. To me, the AI seemed picky at times, but still challenging. I thought the grafix were intense in some levels-such as the Columbian jungle- and my vid settings were a mix between med-high on a P3 850 running gf4mx440. What I really like is the RMG (random mission generator) as I don't know of any other FPS'ers that have similiar.

I've tried running SoF2 on my system and it's REALLY slow and choppy as well. I can't believe how and why it's so slow. I'm only at 640x480x16. Guess it's my GF2MX... AGAIN! :(

I'm hoping to have a guide for it finished today, I'll probably post it up myself later on if I've time too. More so for single player at the moment given the 2 different menus they use & I'm not in the mood for differentiating just yet :)

Update - Finished it now, just will have to await julio htmling/uploading it now.

Totally out of topic: Curious, do you write the review in Word document?

With Thomas its more likely to be the back of a fag/cigarette packet ;) :p
Looking forward to SOF2 guide Thomas :grinthumb

Word 2000 I use, I'm actually a bit wierded out about this guide now, all my SOF2 stuff got corrupted last week. So this is a re-write as a result.
Thing is though an sof file in another unrelated directory to where the guide was got corrupted too, so I'm starting to thing it's a bit malicious now what happened with the guide before now.

The guides up now at http://techspot.com/tweaks/sof2/, more so for Singleplayer at the moment, thought thats what most seem to be having problems with anyway.

I am now using a P4 @2.4 with a Geforce 4 Ti4200, but I was using a Geforce 3 Ti200 before. The game runs flawless with everything enabled at 1280x1024 32bit. I do not play at resolutions lower than that, and I NEVER turn any candy off. To me, that's just a waste of a good game.

I figure if I need a tweak guide to run a game at reasonable frames, I better go boost up my system.. Usually happends with all the new Quake engines. Damn, I hope Im prepared for DOOM.

Heh, you're pretty lucky ;) should see some of the postss over on the Raven forums about it...
Pretty happy with the guide though, one of the Raven guys emailed a while after it was posted (along with a few fixes to it) as it happened too.

Just got myself a GF4Ti4200 64MB. Running it with my AXP1600+ and it's somehow choppy. I'm running it at 1024x768x32 with most of the details turned on.

Guess I'll have to revisit the SOF guide again.

SoFll is pretty fun. Since I've been dying alot I decided to try Ai Hate's low stress gaming technique. Set the difficulty level low but still interesting.

My favorite part so far was exiting the jungle temple ruins on my belly. The music and the mood were killer. Then I died. Can't use weapons while lying down. DAMN.

Anyways its a fun game and well worth the money. Now if I could just find the time to finish MoH and RTCW.
