Apple has released an update for its iPod touch, iPhone and iPad, delivering new applications, performance improvements and security fixes. iOS 4.2 is especially noteworthy for the iPad, which receives some long-awaited features -- namely multitasking, something that has been available to iPod touch and iPhone users since iOS 4.0. Personally, the most important feature in iOS 4.2 is the free app "Find My Iphone", which had to be previously purchased with a mobile me! account and wasn't too cheap at all... I think this is a great move by Apple, some of us still don't feel too confident taking out our iphones 4 in the street because of a possible robery... with this, at least I can track it
iPhone tethering was out AGES ago. You just need to ask your mobile provider or jailbreak the phone. Btw 600MB for an update is just ridiculous.
