    My friends in school with US iPhones have serious issues to get them to work. Cutting SIM cards, jailbreaking, etc.

    But now people can unlock their outdated phones. That is so cool. Why unlock your brand new phone when you have to go abroad, just use the old phone that has been sitting in a drawer, or more likely you no longer have cause you sold it. But hey, now they have choices, and more importantly, legal choices...
