Avira In Product Messaging has stopped working

  1. I recently updated my Avira protection, as it stated there was an update. Ever since I did that update I keep on getting a Microsoft message as stated in the heading, the details of which are:

    Yesterday I ran virus and spyware removal programmes and no viruses or spyware were found.

    Avira is scheduled to update everyday and scan once a week. I used to have it scanning every day but it never found anything and used to interfer with my computing.

    Do you know why I am getting this message?

    Did you try to uninstall/reinstall?
