BDOS giving me a headache

    Hi

    My Sony Vaio laptop will not boot up. It displays BSOD however I boot (I can boot from a BartPE disk). This is a Vista Premium 2GHz 2GB laptop a year old and showed no warning signs before this. I have tried booting from a Linux System Rescue Disk and renaming a file $TxfLog this operation completed; still BSOD

    Please help
