  1. i have a big prob... somebody has reset the fan rpm/cpu temp in bios so the pc will not boot it keeps saying that the fan is not working and it turns the pc off. i have removed the battery to try to clear the cmos, i have tried the jumper but no luck. does anybody have a suggestion as to how to overcome the problem...cheers in anticipation

    ps the board is jetway v266b-a with an unknown chip.

    You didn't say but are your CPU heatsink and northbridge fans actually working?

    the system was working fine, no probs with fans or cpu, there must be a way to get back into the bios to reset or disable the fan and cpu temperature status...it's driving me nuts!!!
