Blue screen error, whats wrong with my pc???

Hey guys, wondering if you could help me out. After running my PC for a couple of hours it comes up with this error:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer .

If this is the first time you ve seen this stop error screen restart your
computer . If this screen apears again follow these steps :

Check with your hard ware vendorfor any biosup dates . disable bios memory
options such as cachingor shadowing . If you need to use safe modeto
removeor disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select
advanced start upoptions, and then select safe mode.

Is it to do with the bios like the message says?

Give us the complete specs of your machine please. Also, have you recently installed anything....upgraded to XP from a previous O/S....any changes we should know about?
 
A lot of blue screen errors are caused by faulty ram.

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

If that doesn`t help. Zip 5 or 6 minidumps together, and attach them here.
