Blue screen while playing WC3 (DoTA)

hi, im new here and i don't have any knowledge about computers and stuff, im just in it for the gaming.

everytime i play dota or frozen throne, my laptop suddenly freezes and a blue screen appears and it makes my laptop restart. it happens everytime i play the game, someone help please? i'm using windows xp.

any help will be appreciated, thank you!

Do you have all the current patches for the game installed?

yah, it came from my friend who plays the game too. he doesn't experience any problems at all. :O

bump. i still haven't resolved this.

i'll try to post my specs: [my OS is winxp]
- asus F9Eseries
- pent. T2390
- 160GB HD
- 1024MB memory
- intel int. GMA X3100 gfx
