BSoD Windows 7 fresh install 32bit

Hello
I just installed windows 7 32bit 7600 build on my computer.
I've been trying to fix this BSoD problem for days but I'm a noob at this and I need help. I tryed disabling my sound card and my video card but it didn't help. Safe mode works well though. I tryed reinstalling windows 7. I did a chkdsk on both my c and d partitions with no problems detected. I still suspect my ram or my hard disk but there's no way to be sure. I downloaded the recent drivers for my video and audio cards. The 0x1000008e one is the most freakwent and annoying. I appreciate any help!

Your errors are of multiple kinds and this can be a sign of corrupted memory. 0x8E errors are almost always due to hardware and are especially a strong indicator of RAM going bad.

However, 0x8E errors cam sometimes be caused by faulty drivers and the fact that this system can run in Safe Mode points to drivers as the cause.

Run Memtest on your RAM.


See the link below and follow the instructions. There is a newer version than what is listed but either one should work. If you need to see what the Memtest screen looks like go to reply #21. The third screen is the Memtest screen.

Let it run for a LONG time. The rule is a minimum of 7 Passes; the more Passes after 7 so much the better. There are 8 individual tests per Pass. Many people will start this test before going to bed and check it the next day.

If you have errors you have corrupted memory and it needs to be replaced.

Also, with errors you need to run this test per stick of RAM. Take out one and run the test. Then take that one out and put the other in and run the test. If you start getting errors before 7 Passes you know that stick is corrupted and you don’t need to run the test any further on that stick.
