Hello everyone

First post here. So I just bought this new sager NP8850(built on clevo w880cu) laptop. After freshly installed windows 7 ultimate x64, and all the necessary drivers, and some software, I have since encounter 2 BSODs in 24hr period so far, I updated all the driver and even uninstalled some program, still can't find the culprit, can someone here point me in the right direction to get this fix. thanks in advance.

some laptop info:
cpu: I-7 840qm
gpu: gtx 480
8gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
intel Calpella Platform with PM55 chipset

attached are the two .dmp files in zip file, also here's what I got from bluescreenview:

Both error codes are the same 0x0000007F: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
One of three types of problems occurred in kernel-mode: (1) Hardware failures. (2) Software problems. (3) A bound trap (i.e., a condition that the kernel is not allowed to have or intercept). Hardware failures are the most common cause and, of these, memory hardware failures are the most common.

The problem is the minidumps only cited the core Windows OS driver ntoskrnl.exe as the probable cause but OS drivers are usually too general to be of much diagnostic help. They function more so as saying there is a problem rather than pointing to what the problem is.

Did this Sagar come with another Windows OS and you decided to do a freshly installed windows 7 ultimate x64?

Hi,

Try this Microsoft Hot-fix - support.microsoft.com/kb/981180 (sorry about the link, apparently I can't use links in my posts yet).

If that hot-fix fails to fix things then you will have to uninstall Zone Alarm.

Zone Alarm Removal tool -> download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/support/cpes_clean.exe (run in Safe Mode without Networking)

Reventon
