Buying a new laptop: which is best?

Hi, I'm new here.

I have the following question:

I am about to buy a new laptop. I got an offer to two computers at the same price:

The first, IBM T43 comes with a Pentium M 1.86 GHz processor.
The second, a T60, comes with Duo Core 1.66 GHz processor.

All other specifications are identical, and price is identical.

Any suggestions as to which to pick? I will be using it mostly for internet, e-mail and mp3's, not heavy gaming.

Also, if I get Duo Core, is it upgradable?

A ThinkPad.. Good choice

Take the T60 - it is a newer model with an improved design. For you, the CPU difference doesn't really matter.

Yes, you could upgrade the CPU later on, but it will cost you a fortune - you would have to order the CPU assembly from Lenovo and most likely they will insist on installing it by themselves too.
