  1. Hi here fellas, every time I open IE i get a runtime error before I can do anything. My pc is also patheticly slow since getting this error.

    The error is as follows:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime Error

    Program: C:\Program Files\internet explorer\iexplorer.exe

    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

    From what I can tell, uninstalling google toolbar should sort this but i did it and it hasnt.

    I us XP Home, Direct X 9.0c.

    I also have Mc Afee which is asking me to re-subscribe. Could this be part of the problem?

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    First of all remove McAfee, run a registry cleaner and install AVG free antivirus
