    I actually have an 8X Mobo but was wondering whether it might be worth the extra dosh to go for an 8 over a 4 model.

    I seriously doubt that any price diff between the ti4200 and ti4200-8x is worth it...
    But if you get the -8x for the same price as the regular I wouldn't hesitate :)
