Can I upgrade the CPU on a HP dv6-2150us laptop with Core M 330 @ 2.13GHz

Can anyone tell me if I can upgrade the cpu on my dv6 laptop? I have heard all kinds of conflicting stories about it. I know that Core cpu's are pretty much compatible voltage-wise and socket-wise. I don't know if the cpu is soldered in or plugs in like a desktop. I have taken an A+ class so I know a bit about what I am doing but I don't want to take my laptop apart unless I have some more info on the subject.

Doing an image search on google for "HP dv6-2150us motherboard" gives images that seem to show a CPU socket on the board. I guess you'll also have to check HPs website to see if they list BIOSs supporting other CPUs on that laptop/motherboard. You'll only be able to upgrade to whatever the maximum supported CPU via the HP BIOS is.
