Try disabling DHCP at the router and setting the IP and DNS server manually on each device. Alternatively, if you want to use DHCP, then check if the IP and DNS server isn't manually configured for the computer you're having problems with.

100% agree with Rage_3K_Moiz, but just to cover all situations i'd point out it's easy to add exceptions by MAC address so those machine do want you want different then policy applied to others. So, for example, if you want the router to be a DHCP server and resonsible for 100% LAN ip assignments you also need review all client side settings are consisent for same

was a Trojan that Norton could not remove
    had to re- install OS
symantec wanted like 60.00 to run a scan and fix
brand new Internet security no lapse in updates or coverage

anyone have an opinion on a competent Internet security

have used Norton since 2005 crazy people
it should have stopped it in the first place
installed windows live one care trial as suggested by hp customer service shows clean also
if 2009 Internet security brand new didn't catch it they shouldn't charge
    i even paid for use on 5 computers not a download 2005 6 7 8 9
i feel like an ***** now for purchasing for another year
each time i installed booted from disk let it run scan then made sure updates are current
    then run full scan again

now I'm missing file hkey-user from registry
screen freezes up and will only display colors on desktop no pictures

restore disc wont let me clean install says missing a file
had to install os then choose to repair (not recovery console)
    no go
guess its time to purchase a new xp disc
don't know how else to fix
did get connection going had to manually assign ip and all
reinstall fixed that now can automatically detect settings
but still have the other problems
    aaaagggghhhh
thank you guys your always a life saver
hope you had a merry Christmas

NOD32 is a far better pay AV than Norton, and the best out there IMO.
