CC cleaner

I was just wondering if CC Cleaner was a good program, http://www.ccleaner.com/
Because this is for my dad's work computer, i was abit worried before my dad downloaded it, just incase of a virus.

You can always scan the downloaded file for viruses before installing it. That said, I use Ccleaner all the time. It's a good program IMHO.

I consider it a great program, as I have NEVER had it do any damage to my system, nor even stability issues. It cleans great, but I do wish it compressed like the Windows Disk Cleanup.

What you MUST be careful of is changing default settings without some research- you CAN clean out stuff you might not want to clean out.

The program is called Ccleaner Short for crap cleaner. This is a good program i personally use it. Please be sure that you are downloading it from a trusted source such as Sourceforge.net, download.com or here on techspot https://www.techspot.com/downloads/132-ccleaner.html. It is great for freeing up disk space.
