i wanna get company of heroes on the max settings for vista

can anyone help me improve my system?
i think its the processor

8800 GTS 640mb

Intel Pentium D 820 Smithfield 2.8GHz LGA 775

GIGABYTE GA-8I945GZME-RH LGA 775 Intel 945GZ Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

how can i find out if my board supports duo core and if so would i need to reformat and/or go through a bunch of crap like telling microsoft etc.

thats odd because i have an intel duo core 3.0 ghz and my comp will start up but not even my bios pop up my moniter doesn't even have a signal, and i got lga 775 like my mobo said.

nope its plugged i think that the processor is not compatibile for some reason

Hmmm. If you have a Core 2 Duo 3.0Ghz, that sounds like the E6850 Conroe, w/ fsb of 1333Mhz which as Codex pointed out is not supported by your current motherboard. Is this the processor you actually have?
