OK instant messenger no longer comes up,but common still does. Anyway, what are all the items in the task manager?

Im planning on installing and running fox instead of IE, I hear its better for security reasons and is a better browser, what have you heard??

Thanks

Ray

Firefox is undoubtedly more secure than IE, I use it myself.

Can you please give details of the Windows common file that opens when you start your computer.

What items in task manager are you referring to?

greetings Howard,

first of all, thanks for your help.

I am wanting to start my online banking again, and maybe im just being paranoid, but I cant stop thinking that there is something in my computer that will send my personal info off to someone.

I was looking at another site and it was regarding making your internet explorer more secure. Is there a way to make Firefox more secure??
Should I leave Smitfraud, Ccleaner, look2me, vundo, and virtumundo on my computer??

Im currently running:
AVG Spyware
Spybot S&D
Avast anti virus
Ad Aware anti spyware

can I also install Spyware Blaster, or will it interfere with what im already running?

Thanks

Ray

You can get rid of Smitfraud/look2me/vundo/virtumundo.

Keep Ccleaner.

Installing Spyware Blaster won`t interfere with anything and can be used safely.

Regards Howard :)
