Computer restarting when loading windows

  1. I just installed a new motherboard and Videocard into my computer. I turned it on and it will load up to the sceen that asks me which mode I wanted to start windows in. Ive tried every mode and every time it starts to load windows and then keeps rebooting. When I try safe mode the last thing I get before it restarts is that its trying to load sptd.sys Now I looked up what sptd.sys is and it seems to be a file associated with daemon tools.

Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this? Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you done a Windows Repair since you installed the new mobo? You can't install a new mobo without doing a Windows repair, all the IRQ, ports, number of IDE and SATA (if any) slots have changed etc. Windows has no clue what to do.
