  1. Hi, I have recently just built me own computer, however sometimes when using it, it will be very slow and it will also freeze for about 20 seconds and then work again. Also when you put a disk in to install something it will take about 1 minute to autorun the disk. Does anyone know what could be causing this.
I have had my graphics card replaced, my RAM replaced and my Hard Drive replaced and still no luck, the only things I havnt have replaced are the Motherboard, CPU, PSU and Blu-Ray Drive.

    These are my system specs:
    Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
    ASUS P5K Premium Motherboard
    BFG GTX280 1GB Graphics Card
    OCZ Reaper RAM 8GB 1066
    1000w PSU
    Intel Q6600 CPU (Manufactured Overclocked)
Samsung Spinpoint F1 Hard Drive 1TB
    Pioneer Blu-Ray Disc Drive

Perhaps you should go back to basics and start over... no overclocking... 2 GB of RAM. Reset your system. See how it does, then if it works well, start over, keeping notes as you go.

you might be using programs that were designed for 32-bit systems.
