I wanted to download Whatsapp for desktop 2.2312.7 (Windows version). Unfortunately, your download although it says 2.2312.7, is actually 2.2310.5

Where can I get the correct Whatsapp version 2.2312.7?

2.2310.5 is the latest version for Windows. Version 2.2312.7 was for the macOS app. I added a legend in the What's New of the entry clearing that up. We can only have one version number in the title so when an entry has various versions for different operating systems we usually put the higher version number in the title.
