Could my RAM cause my games to keep freezing?

Just as a friendly FYI this post is getting way off topic. Is it possible for the respondents to this post to start a new thread that might be more user relevant? Thanks so much in advance for your cooperation.

Just don't use dusters which produce static electricity or vacuum cleaners which might also do so.

I'll re-title the thread to better reflect the content, threads do quite often go off course, although it is actually a continuation of the OPs problem in some ways. It's temps, not RAM that's the issue.

I apologize if you took offense to my suggestion. I know you understand that whenever you are responding to the person making inquiry this dialogue is sent directly to me. I appreciate your cooperation.

I didn't take offence at all. I planned to re-title the thread anyway, and you had a valid point. I just got sidetracked doing other things in the meantime. :)

However, if you wish to stop receiving notifications in this, or any other thread in future, at the top of the page on the right-hand side above the first response is the link "unwatch topic." Clicking that will remove you from all future notifications for the topic in question.

Ok so now I have my computer back together but somehow I lost my modume, goes right beside the RAM. 2 questions first what does it do, 2nd how much would it cost to replace

No idea what you mean by modume?

Can you take a picture and upload it here, or describe what it looks like?

Its the modum, it goes right above the RAM memory cards, its has one screw an plugs into the motherboard, and you cant take out the motherboard unless you take it off. if you want a picture go to the link one of the guys posted about taking out the motherboard, around step 14 I think.

That's the WiFi card. Its held in by two screws, and you lift it 45 degrees then pull it away from the socket to remove it. The two wires connected on the left of it as antenna's, and should be clearly "popped" up to release them.

Are you saying you've lost the entire card whilst stripping down the laptop? Or do you mean something else?

Ah, I see what you mean now. Well, unless you still use dial-up internet you'll be okay with that missing.
