Welcome to TechSpot. We don't 'screen' with HijackThis. Please tell us what problem you're having. Putting out a log with no other information won't get you very far! In addition, the HJT version you used is outdated so you can uninstall it. I will have you run it later, but will give a link for the current version.

If you would like us to check the system for malware, please follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply .

Hi, thanks for that. I have done a few things today now but it is still not as quick as it was a few months ago. I installed 2gig RAM as it only had half a gig a few months back and it loaded up in no time and worked fast(ish) now it's a bit slow again, nothing majorly slow except sometimes. It just annoys me as why should it slow down?!

Could be all the RAM isn't good. Or you have too many processes starting on boot and running in the background or you don't do regular maintenance on the system.

How would it not be fine? It's all running properly. I got rid of some of teh processes starting on boot and it is a bit better, but not what it was still. Regular maintenance such as?

I don't understand what you question is. You have posted in the Virus and Malware Forum. We have scans run, look for and then remove malware.

We do not 'screen' with a HJT log. I do not have enough information about our system to go any further.
