Crypto.sys blue screen of death

  1. We are having issues with our Dell D620 dual core laptops getting BSOD 's when running with SafeNet Netscreen VPN client. We are not running into this issue with our Dell D505 laptops.
    Our crypto.sys is Version 3.0.1.4 from 1997-2001

    Hi,
    I too am having a problem with crypto.sys blue screens. I have a new Dell Inspiron 9400 and use Netscreen Remote VPN. Did you manage to get any assistance on this and if so, would you be able to share it? I have heard that the crypto.sys file may need to be replaced with an older version, but I don't know where to find the older version.

    Any assistance you have would be appreciated.

    Yes, i was able to find a resolution. After working with Netscreen themselves, it appears that this is a known issue and can only be resolved by running their newer version. I have installed this on several machines that were having the problem and they are no longer have BSODs.
    I heard also about the older version but have no idea where you would be able to get that.
