Default folder permissions/security - defaults?

    Hello,

    I have accidentally changes the permissions on my c: drive. I think I have caught it early enough to prevent and harm.

    I am just trying to confirm the defauls settings/premissions on the c: drive. I found this list on another forum:

    (thanks to user "Joe Guidera" for this post)

    Authenticated users:
    Modify
    Read/Execute
    List contents
    Read
    Write

    System:
    Full control

    Administrators
    Full control

    Users:
    Read & Execute
    List folder contents
    Read

    Can anyone confirm in windows 7 that these are the defaults, and if there is anything else I can do to make sure I have sorted this?
