Dell BIOS Password Removal

Sorry for my bad english, in my school 20 years ago learn russian ;-)
My friend buy notebook Dell D610, but have message "this computer system...is protected, ble ble ble".
I try use "latitude.exe" , dont work, i affraid to try erase eeprom...

Please help me :

So here goes......my story.

I work for a very large corporation and I have been away from the office for a few months (another story) and I need to get back into my computer. Our IT department (like most large company ITs) isn't much help. They said we need to send it back to Dell and get it unlocked. According to them, this is a 2 week process. Can anybody help? I don't want to get in trouble for not being able to get in my computer and I don't want to re-create the documents and files I have stored on my current computer.....

Here is the information I Think is needed....

Hard Disk # **9F4JLVY3A-595B (number on the password screen)
Service Tag 4W0Z141 (number on the bottom)
Dell Lat D600

DELL LATITUDE D800 as a last resort i am about to short the bios chip, i have carefully removed all the required parts in order for me to easily access the security chip. according the the principles of practice i am sure that the process is possible and will report back to you if the proceedure is easily done.

I Have a dell 610 that i bought off ebay and they didn't give me the Admin password or the bios and i have tried every thing that could possibly remove it and i carn't get rid of it can any body help PLEASE???????
 
D800 wrong picture

The picture in all the copies of the Paper clip Doc is wrong for the D800. The correct chip is under the HDD chute hardware; this chute must be removed from the board to access this chip. The one showed in the pictures in the Doc is for a builtin LAN chipset, and shorting it will not clear the passwords. This LAN Chip is usually a 24LC256; the correct one under the HDD chute is usually a 24C04 or similar. This also applies to a the Inspiron 8500/8600 hardware/board clones

Hi I have Dell inspiron3800, just updated the bios from the floppy disk software, and now it asks for a password? The question is: Could a man find out what password has been generated from the floppy-bios-update software? I mean is it possible to find it in the software files ???

hi could any1 tell me the location of the security bios chip on the latitude d800

i shall try to remove the hdd chute to locate bios chip will reply back to u on this 1
 
If you look at the chip with the etched P/N right side up, 1-4 run left to right on the bottom side and 5-8 from right to left on the top side. 1 and 8 are directly across from each other as a result.
 
Hello,

I have a laptop Dell D620 received for testing purposes by our company from the local dealer. One of our IT coleagues played to much with it and a password unknown was setup on bios.

At dealer they said that the mother board must be changed but it's taking more then 2 weeks. It's too much.
Any possibility to unlock bios on this laptop?

I am in need of your brain! LOL I am not good at this computer stuff. My little sister sent me a C840 for my birthday and I would love to send it to my husband. He is in the navy doing six months overseas on the ship. He has to wait in lines to write me and the kids, I thought it would be a nice surprise to send this to him. This way he can watch whatever movies he wants in privacy also! This will be or third deloyment and we have three children together. So this will be nice not just for him but all of us.

did you try the master pw gen the code it sends to me for youre service tag is #qsfpvere ,unsure if this is any use to you but will keep trying.

I also need help with a BIOS password for a Dell latitude C600. I purchased it on eBay as a working notebook but when it came, I got the GREY SCREEN OF DEATH, wanting password. The OS label AND service tag number on the back had been taken off. I have complained to eBay but to no avail. I am a retired programmer (started in computers in 1966) but these new fangled laptops are a mystery to me. I have tried latitude.exe but my tag is 7 characters, not 5.

I would really appreciate if you could give me the master password.

hello sorry to bother you rustam i see that you help people, I have a dell d600 code 1b7161j-595b. I need to clear both passwords or at least get it to boot up tried paper clip idea but only chip that looks like a eprom is a 24lc256. Please help me because i got laptop second hand of ebay for mises so i could reclaim my xbox from her all she does is play poker on xbox live what a waste, Seller wont do any thing about it and ebay take forever to re claim funds so im stuck. Sorry for poor gramer and spelling im dyslexsic. thanks in advance.
 
Inspiron 6400 protected by a password authentication system

I got this laptop from ebay and when I turn it on it says " This Computer system ,#7xTTS91-595B, is protected by a password authentication system .....I have called Dell customer care and they did not really care ): I can not do transfar of ownership because I don't have the owner info, and I can not offerd buying new motherbord or even know how to but it in.....I know there is a lot of good people there can help me to resolve this issue....it's for my dougher 16th birthday ....please please help
