Dell Inspiron N5010 PCH overheating

    Hi everyone,
    My PCH stays hot most of the time. For example when I play GRID for 30 minutes the temperature of the PCH gets up to 75C and when I quit the game it cools down hardly even when my laptop cooler is on.It blows cold air but stays hot. I had the same problem with the CPU two weeks ago but somehow it works normally now. Here are my specs:
    CPU - Intel Core i5 2.9Ghz
    RAM - 2x2GB DDR III
    Video Card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB
    The laptop has no warranty since I opened it to check if the vent was clean.
    All help would be appreciated :)

    You probably have to put on some new thermal paste between the CPU and its cooler

    It could be something defective, could be bad processor contact with the CPU cooler. We had one the sealant was crystalized it had gotten so hot. That's the problem, the laptop has no warranty since I opened it to clean the fan
