DICE preps E3 Battlefield 3 demo, mocks Call of Duty Elite

@Guest 1:23 PM: I don't quite understand your ignorance. Are you an American?

Dont see why this has to be an so unfriendly thread, we get the pciture u do NOT like cod, but spamming every opportunity is not a good way to make your case.

As i said in my previoud comment i do not see why bf and cod are even being compared as they provide so different kind of online experience.

And my argument was and still is for me it is only because i am the noobie everyone is laughing at in bf when i crash and burn for the zillion´th time in any vehicle, so cod brings me more joy and a better feel to the ingame mechanics.

Now u can slice and dice my grammar but for a danish dude i would asume this is ok :p

ps.And i think bf3 looks very nice so far, hope all the bf fans get what they are looking for and yes i will take a few brothers in arms along in my suicide rides in bf3 too, so if u should see me in any bf game.....do NOT "run to da choppa"!!!!

It seems like a rare thing when someone really enjoys the MP experiences of both CoD and BF. Personally I'm a BF fan, but the single player campaigns of CoD have always been alot of fun for me. My favs in order are MW, WaW, MW2... haven't played BO and won't buy it till I can find it for $30 or less. I'll probably get BF3 day 1 or soon after and will get MW3 most likely at least a year after release since that's how long it will take the price to drop to something I'm willing to pay for only the SP campaign.

Its ok if you like one game over the other, both games have their flaws no matter who makes them. I own mw1, mw2, and black ops and will get mw3, I also own BF2, BC2, and will get BF3. All games have flaws. For IW games its mainly the retarded perks or attachments they add, and black ops has the smallest maps in the world for an online shooter, that and every is a try hard with a 74u or a 47. However, I like the pace of the game, and the gun play. What I don't like about BF2 is that you can't hit anything in that game, nothing, so I moved to BC2 were bullets actually go were you shoot and the graphics looked great, but I found out really fast that the game is nothing but snipers vs snipers, gustov spammers, tube spammers, shotguns with slug campers, and medics that you chase half way across the map and NEVER ****in heal you. Both games have their flaws, until they fix the minor **** like what I mentioned, they both are going to be just as annoying/gay as the previous.

Played a lot of MW2, was fun for a while. Played BC2, didn't get into it as quickly. I guess there is more of a learning curve to how to play each class, watching your squad members to see if it is worthwhile spawning on them or too dangerous. When to switch class and weapon setup to best support your squad mates. Really is a refreshing change from the run and gun ninja, marathon super speed game play in MW2. Tried BlackOps during the free weekend and it felt like I was playing one of the old Unreal Tournament games. Fast speed and small map, makes for a frantic and fun experience but I'm looking for a bit more from Multi player in FPS games nowadays.

Considered a few of the faction based releases like Global Agenda but haven't seen enough good about them. I remember really enjoying PlanetSide's game style. A persistent world like that of MMORPG games could add a lot to the FPS genre.

HURR BUT IN COD I CAN MAKE MY WEAPON PINK AND PUT SKULLS ALL OVER IT LOLOL

BF2 > COD, BFBC2 > COD4 - and that shitty remake of it, with the customizable **** ... Black Ops or something like that isn't it?

Frankly it's more like DICE 6 : Activision 0.

LoL!! So your one of those? Your why I don't like getting in vehicles (espcially ones thats fly) with anyone other than people i already knows skill level.

Don't get me wrong though I think its hilarious when ppl get in a chopper and immedietly flip it or crash into a tree. I've learned to be very ready for that to happen and know the warning signs so its fine with me :D

That's because you need to actually be skilled, and things like bullet drop, and deviation actually exist in it, unlike cod where you can shoot from a 10 miles away and it will not drop at all.

Personally I hate hate hate how cod is all about spray and pray and in many of the games theres one gun thats above all else. I hate how they take the philosophy that wherever you point your gun it will hit that exact spot instantly no matter the distance, or if you and or the target is moving. Again personal opinion, some people understandbly prefer that arcade style.

they all win and our pockets get a bit flatter!!! in the end we all win and lose!!!! enough said now let me go pay 15 bucks for dlc that should have came with the game from day one!

bf3 better be awesome after all the beta testing we'v3e been doing for them on
bc2 which is buggy as ****(thinks bc2 is a beta for honing bf3), but even with the hit box reg problems, glitches, it far exceeds in both gameplay, graphics and quality of players.

cod is fun to play...single campaign missions, loved playing those pirate bay copies
I'd never pay for those games just to do online multiplyaer...and the console players
out number the p.c. players, just as there are much less higher iq'd folks than the masses
which are mostly dolts; hence make up the financial success of cod...the only reason it's
done well...morons will buy anything, and make it easy, and not require tactical skill sets, just
point and shoot, and the gaming special Olympics ensue. Not saying you need a brainiac
to master bc2, but it's certainly a different caliber of fps gamer that sees and plays battlefield
series vs. cod series.

too bad bf3 doesn't stay l337 by being made specifically for the p.c., and NOT porting it to consoles.

bf3 FTW

and the "elite" service...really? geeze, they don't think, they KNOW their fans are morons who are willing to pay that, but then again there are morons in the pc world paying monthly fees to play and commuicate (wow fans) but we forgive them, as we know they are sick, and aren't behaving rationally.

hope they have the spring loaded spetnaz combat knife, cause the one in bc2 is rubber..easier to kill someone with a repair tool than the soft rubber knife.

I would like to see some bf2 special forces pack tear gas implemented. I'm a big fan of spamming smoke for cover when I have "challenged" team mates, and spamming gas not only does the same as smoke, but will impair the ability to fight, as well as make some of them "homies" choke and gasp as they reach for their mask.

and JETS! woooohooooo! i don't think the coders on the cod series know how to do the math required for emulating teh physics of jets flight (not to mention even if they did, the jets would only have room o nthe maps to fly around in tight circles.

okay,

I must say that I would totally be one of those people who would crash the chopper. After crashing the first couple times I just gave up completely. lol

That being said I still love BC2.

I have played MW 4 - Black ops religiously since these games came out. I have always bashed and looked down at Battlefield players until recently. COD games are repetitive, dry and lacking flavor. Example: you can be two types of player in COD. a "Run and Gun" or a "camper". Due to the repetitiveness of the COD franchise, i decided to give BFBC 2 multi-player a chance. After purchasing and playing the BF multi-player, i have been kicking myself in the *** for bashing BF players and for not purchasing the franchise sooner. I will never go back to the COD multi-player (other than zombies) after experiencing the rich, diverse wide open and fluid game-play of battlefield. The Battlefield series lets you be the type of player you wanna be. Example: i am the type of player that will booby trap a road with C4 and wait in a covered vantage point until i see a tank or infantry-man crossing, you cannot do that in COD. My overall rating of both game franchises that projects my future interests and purchases are as follows, COD: Repetitive, same game engine, MW3 should be an add-on. BF franchise: Developing, diverse, fluid and an overall solid FPS that provides many, many hours of entertainment and exciting multi-player experiences.

ı just wanna say anyone who says cod better then BF .. soo everyone who sad thıs are kıds.. becose ıts not realıstk ın cod you feal actualy you are playın a game ... but ın bf all serıes you have to work as team becose lıke ın real war ın real lıfe you must cover ur buddys *** and try to keep hım alıve.... ı was soldier before turkısh blue berrets ... and all ı can say... ıf you wanna see how ıs real lıfe how ıts look lıke ın real lıfe try to play BF all serıes... dont need to say lot of thıngs..

I hope bbc 3 stays loyal to the other two games I don't want bbc 3 to smash cod 4 in sales the last thing i want is a bunch of pubeless kids screaming and giggling through headset and ****ing up good squad play between adults who take their gaming seriously. We the true believers have the best kept secret in war gaming out there I for one hope it stays that way.

you are just sad if you think that look at the players on cod and then battle field battle field has more cod sucks it takes no skill to play cod if you dont believe me play me 1v1 on xbox 360 mw2 or mw3 i havent played that game in 2 months and i have neverlost a 1v1 if you want to know more my gamer tag on xbox 360 is xRYAN FERRARIx my gamer tag on ps3 is xRYAN FERRARIx
