    Best way to determine if a particular piece of software (or a virus or adware) is seriously impacting the performance of your PC is to run these tests often so you have some idea of how fast your system should be performing and if something installed recently is slowing it down.

    I never used Everest or heard of AIDA, but I may finally be getting around to overclocking my year-old ASRock MB. This sounds like a good tool to use in the process. Please add me to the drawing. Thanks.

    I don't like the new name or what they've done to the program ("FREE VERSION"). I'll stick with my outdated Everest, unless of course I win a key.

    Given all the benchmark programs that are out there this one does seem to offer a true picture of what one's system is capable of. It looks like it will show you ways to address possibilities to the short comings to extract the best performance possible. I would love to use this on my system to find out where the bottlenecks are be it hardware or software.
