Your second minidump crashes with exactly the same problem.

You can get AVG free from HERE and the free Sygate firewall from HERE

Before you uninstall, and reinstall the offending software, make sure to disconnect from the internet.

    Regards Howard :) :)

    Hi Darkthunder,

Your problem is hard. No useful information are found at your minidumps. If you believe me, I guess the culprit is outpost firewall. When do you start to have bsod? If you get bsod after you upgrade or install outpost firewall, de-install outpost firewall.

You thought that my problem was faulty cpu or ram. but could it be outpost firewall that's fu*king my computer up?

The only thing that I, my friend and his friend has in common is outpost firewall. And I think my problems started after installing that.

    I'm attaching the latest minidump.

Thx a lot in advanced for your help!!!

    Hi ELmacovich,

Base upon the debug report of your minidimps, I believe that it is hardware problem. However I am not always correct. It is no harm to de-install outpost firewall.

    Thanks for the quick answer.
I think the problem started when I install Outpost. But I’m not sure.
    I will uninstall outpost.
    What Firewall do you recommend?
    Sorry about my English.

Okay! Thanks for that! I have already uninstalled Outpost Firewall ver 2.7 and installed ver 3.0 yesterday. Don't hurt to try ;)

From that moment until now no blue-screens... but have not pushed my computer to the limit though...

    Thanks again!!!

    ELmacovich,

Thanks for your reply. Feedback your result to me. I want to prepare a monthly report to summarize all the software error. Before the member reports the blue screen problem, check software error report. If they have the same software installed at their windows, it is no need to report the problem here.

    Hi,
I also have this problem of blue screen. If I can judge it well, this occures to me whenever I am connected to a wireless network from my IBM T42 Thinkpad. I am attaching the minidumps here. It will be so kind of you if you can suggest any solution to this problem or can guide me with reasonable pointers. Thank you in advance.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

One of your minidumps crashes at abvpn2k.sys.

This is the driver for your firewall software.

Try uninstalling, and reinstalling the software, also check for any update, or patches from the manufacturers website.

If that doesn`t work, try using a different firewall.

The free Sygate firewall comes highly recommended. You can get it HERE

P.s. Would anyone with similar problems etc. Please start their own thread in the Windows OS forum. Thanks.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Please would you start your own thread in the Windows OS forum.

This is because this thread already has too many pages.

This makes it hard to read, and somewhat confusing at times.

Zip 5, or 6 mindiumps together, and post them in your new thread.

You can find your minidumps in the following directory c/windows/minidumps.

ASUS P4P800 SE, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT blue screen when playing World of Warcraft

Hi Cpc2004, could you take a look at my minidump files and determine the reason why I get the blue screen with the IRQL line when I'm playing an online game?

    Thanks
