  1. gale Newcomer, in training

    I have encountered a problem opening D: drive contents (DVD)- thru Explorer or My Computer. Get
    a message " D:\ IS NOT ACCESSIBLE Incorrect function". I can open a movie thru the Windows Media Player Menu but AutoPlay itself will not work. Have checked the settings and AutoPlay is checked.Any help. Thank you.

    This is for CD-R and CD-RW but may also apply to you:

    It could also happen if you have inserted a blank disc.

    Another cause may be the installation of Norton System Works 2002. After installation, and updates, it can screw up your removable drives.
