Hey, everyone. Last night I passed out with my laptop on my bed while burning a DVD and the laptop must have slipped off. The drop is a little over a foot onto a carpeted floor. I woke up this morning to discover it on the floor, unplugged. I plugged it back in and upon starting it up, I heard a loud fluttering sound. I attempted ejecting the disc and it made the same sound and opened the disc tray. I tried to play other discs in the drive, but none work. The drive is still recognized by the computer, but it just doesn't recognize that any discs are being inserted. Every time the disc drive is being used (ejecting, attempting to read, etc), it makes the loud, fluttering sound. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
