    Use it for BF3 but really it is a terrible platform. The licensing conditions alone are enough for me to want to dump it let alone the (lack of) features.

    I wonder how Origin would stand as a gaming platform if not for its enforced use for BF3?

    That's really the telling point. Granted, the evidence is anecdotal, but I have yet to hear from anyone who uses it for any reason other than BF3.
