Error Code: "bcc code 100008e"

I am new to the board. Have two left of everything and would appreciate any input anyone has with this problem.

Like "Have Gun - Will Travel", "Boot Computer-Get Error Code"!!

This is usually caused by timings, on computers using PC2100 or PC2700... Is your memory faster than that?

Is the message something like:
...recovered from serious error bccode 100008e: bp1 ...

Are you using Kazaa, or are you a gamer using Xupiter?

First thing I would do is run Memtest86... it could be bad ram... or just bad timings on good ram... with DRAM clock settings in error.


Whatever, it is usually a hardware error rather than an infestation... not that that helps anything... but look for little things if the computer has some miles on it.

PS, I think your error code is more likely this:

bc code 100008e with one less "C", right?
