Error Message:Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system

    Hi.. whenever I enter my windows xp home edition cd it loads up then it says "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system" also when I try to log onto my windows account it logs in then immediatly logs off so I cant do anything on the comuter but enter the cd and the cd cant detect hard disk drives. I think my computer is a foxconn type sorry im totally clueless

    You may need to press F6 during setup and load the hard disk controller drivers. You can download these from the Foxconn site if you know the correct motherboard model. have you registered windows XP? When you say logon do you enter a password? You need to supply a little bit more details so we can help. Cheers.
