Fan speed configuration on ASUS P5VD2-MX SE

  1. Hi,

I have a ASUS P5VD2-MX SE motherboard and also a couple of questions:

    1. Is it possible to change fan speed on this model?
    2. I don't see any place where I can configure Q-Fan. Not on the Bios and not on the PC Probe II V1.04.08. Anyone knows why?

    Thanks,
    Nuno

You will need a fan controller.

There is no Q fan in that mobo bios.

No Fan Control on ASUS Motehrboard P5VD2-MX SE

    Hi Ellgor,

I already have Fanspeed installed on my pc but it works onle has a monitoring tool.
The problem is my motherboard does't have PWM capabilities. It only has 3 pin to connect to the fan and thus no possibility to control the fan either by increasing or decreasing woltage.
I wanted to know if there is another way to do this without having to buy a fan controller, like CCT sugested.

    Regards,
    Nuno
