Fastest I've seen myself going in NFS:U was 204mph. That was on the Highway 1 drag course with a Level 3 everything Skyline. That felt good but it didn't feel alot different from like 150. I think I had one Good shift, all the rest were Perfect. And I hit the NOS after shifting into 3rd gear.

Need For Speed Underground is also one of my favorites. I like the single player campaign alot, just not the rice body kits and spoilers :dead:
Anyone know if there are any plug-ins to add cars to NFS:U? That could quite possibly be the coolest thing ever.

i thought actually modding the cars in nfsu was the best bit!

i dont think theres any add in cars, but im waiting for the sequel!!

also on my list is total annihilation and unreal tournament. very good games. :grinthumb

Oh no, modding the cars is extremely fun, just some of the body kits (front & rear bumpers, side skirts) they have available are soooooooooooooooooo ugly :dead:

Then again all body kits are.

yeh every time i go to mod a car i find myself using the same bits over and over......but its all down to personal opinion.

not all bodykits are ugly, there are actually some rather tasteful (yeh youd better believe it!) ones. anyway the second game has many more customisable bits and pieces, although you still cant create your own graphics for the cars

Half-Life is a all time great, but the ending is a bit crap.
At the moment I like return to the castle wolfenstien, i like the bit near the start with the zombie skeleton things.
Has eneny one heard of Heros of Might and Magic (theres a bunch of them).

yeah, its kinda weak that you cant create your own graphics in NFS:U especially since so many games before this have offered it...i dont know if anyone here got to try out Auto Modellista for the PS2, now that game had nice body kits (made even better by the cel graphics) as well as the option of making your own graphics (didnt work as well as it would for pc) - other then that tho the game was total trash, i beat it in about an hour since there are only like a dozen races and only 9 cars that you would want to win. also the handling and physics were horrible :blackeye:.

note: i wanna add the Wipeout franchise to my all time favorites - the graphics, gameplay, physics and music have always been top notch - i dont know if any of you got a chance to play wipeout fusion but some parts of that game were simply breathe taking - the tracks were awesome. :grinthumb

ABSOLUTELY- the original rocket launcher and (my personal favorite) flak cannon had a wonderful feel to them that is lacking in the newer games.
