Favorite movie/show?

Movie: Seen so many I can't decide, but given this choice, I'd have to give it to Primer. Made on a budget of only $7000, this is one movie that greatly impressed me with its script, acting and almost everything else that was very polished.
TV Show: NCIS, CSI (all), Heroes, Smallville, The Big Bang Theory, The IT Crowd

A Balerina Named Summer.......

I've always believed that it is a very small step, (pun intended), from the world of dance to the world of martial arts. In Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" the writers have managed to make the leap (again, pun intended), from Summer Glau's skills gained as a ballet student to her role as a "scary robot" from the future to great plot relevance and emotional impact. This show (Fox, Monday 9:00 EST) is the best, (IMHO), offering within the science fiction genre, currently available on broadcast television.
So, I guess you could say it's my (Current) favorite TV show. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not certain how long this story arc could continue without a definite, finite, conclusion. But for now, I'll keep enjoying it until it causes me to do otherwise.

Well, you may get your answer. Next week is the 2 hour season finale. At which point FOX will probably drop the show. So you don't have to worry about the story line continuing.

Hmmmmm.....

Well, aren't we Mister Black Cloud? You're right though, Fox will pull the plug on anything that doesn't take off right away, (as will most networks, although perhaps not as ruthlessly). People predicted that "Dark Angel" (Fox) would run "Angel"l(The WB) off the air, but it didn't go down quite that way. I would like to see Ms Glau make it past the 13 week, Josh Whedon/Serenity curse. They did say "season finale", not "finale". Perhaps, I'm too much of an "optimist".
Any way, I'm still hoping (perhaps in vain) that "Chuck" will reappear on NBC. But, in truth, how could a silly little show like Chuck compete with the likes of half naked briefcase models and people's greed, or the drama of watching incredibly obese people cry tears of joy for the camera. So what if they'll probably put all the weight and more back on in six months. This is real life, pay attention!

I agree with you captaincranky, on everything you said.

I believe, too, that Boondock Saints was a fantastic movie. Though I still say my favorite is Mortal Kombat............

I'm pretty sure Chuck will be back. The only one I'm going to be HIGHLY disappointed if it doesn't come back is Life.

I've got screwed too many times recently on TV, I've started to (and will do this more starting in the fall) not watch shows until they are established, then download and watch after I'm convinced it isn't going to disappear.

Around about '98 "Mortal Kombat: Conquest" was a TV series as well. It also was a short run, (22 episodes). This is where Kristanna Loken (T3) got her "Kung Fu" start, as Kung Lao's Right hand gal "Taja"! Apparently the DVD was released and is now out of print. I still have some bad VHS OTA tapes of it. Great stuff, it was, but a really depressing series finale.... Episode List @TV.com http://www.tv.com/mortal-kombat-con...t=convert&om_clk=episodessh&tag=episodes;more

And Then What Happened.....?

Life is really offbeat and enjoyable, I'd like to see it return as well! It didn't hurt the show that Sarah Shahi is scorching hot and a tad exotic looking as well.

I hear you on that one. Since I don't have cable I buy the box sets of "Battlestar Galactica". I always stop watching the DVDs about halfway through a season, then finish the set off once I've got the next season in my hot little hands. I just loathe season cliffhangers!

Movies - The Green Mile - Kill Bill

TV Shows - CSI:NY - Grey's Anatomy

A new favourite for me = The Kite Runner. Utterly brilliant. Go and see it!

Finally did see that. It is good.

I also watched Atonement. Also good, but pretty sad.

Pulpfiction, 1408, Jumper, Reservoirdogs, Bluesbrothers, Vacation 1,2 and 3, 16 blocks, Spiderman 1,2 and 3, Badboys 1,

Run Lola Run and There Will be Blood.

I started watching There will be blood, thinking that I would see lots of blood and gore. I had no idea what it was about. Although it is so very long, it is a great movie!

Run Lola Run
That's a bit of an obscure pick! Just for fun, track down "Run, Cleo, Run", which is an episode from "Cleopatra 2525", (S1-E7, 2-28-2000). Cleopatra 2525 featured Gina Torres (Serenity), and Victoria Pratt (Mutant X), with Jennifer Sky starring as Cleopatra. Yeah I know, Jennifer who?
Any-hu here's the skinny at TV.Com; http://www.tv.com/cleopatra-2525/sh...t=convert&om_clk=episodessh&tag=episodes;more This show is from a genre I like to refer to as; "Spandex Sci-Fi".

TV: Babylon 5, Stargate Atlantis, CSI:NY, Big Bang Theory, Dilbert if it was still running.

Movies: Kill Bill, Shaun of the Dead, The Terminal, Pride and Prejudice (The new one), War of the Worlds (Book and Movie)
