Well I have played it tonight until 6am.
Very addictive and the enemies are much more challenging than the RTCW ones. Good game especially the Omaha beach landing which I thought had been over hyped....
It had not been over hyped. Awesome game ;)

Re: the suspense is killing me........

    Gameplay: Great
You can lean, crouch, lay down, stand up... You can't jump, which would be a nice addition, but I guess you can't have it all. The controls are responsive and fairly realistic. I wish you could recover more quickly after being hit by a bullet though.. Once you get shot it is over because your character refuses to do anything for the next 3 seconds.

    Graphics: Great
    - Excellent texture details and character models. The maps have a lot of variation and are very scenic. I really pushes my Athlon XP 1500+ and Radeon DDR 64mb quite hard.

    Sound: Awesome
Hear bullets whizz by your.. Hear the sound of yourself sloshing in a swap with the fright of grenade cannisters plopping in the water at your 8 o'clock. Rain patters around you.. Gunfire chunks into a piece of wood nearby. It's a sonic wonderland.

    Quality: Poor
Get the upgrade patch before you even play it! Especially if you have an older graphics card like the poor little Voodoo3. There are a SLEW of problems with it, which are addressed in the patch.

    Difficulty: Very challenging
Humanistic AI, aside from godly shooting abilities, offers a realistic challenge. The AI hunts in packs, runs behind rocks and trees, screams out funny Russian phrases and even sneaks up on your when you aren't looking. I think there's still a bit more tweaking to do for the "ultimate war sim", but Ghost Recon does a very good job.

    Multiplayer: Great.
Really fun, lag is minimal. I'm a big fan of cooperative play and Ghost Recon definitely has it. If you are into to deathmatch, it is quite interesting to play. It's very different from Quake III or Unreal Tournament. You rely more off of stealth than brute force.

    Fun: Good
It can be tedious because of the difficulty, but I still find myself playing it regularly. If you dig the single player or even if you don't.. Multiplayer is still a blast.

Overall: Really good game. Much better than Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear in my opinion. (Commonly referenced games)

    Speaking from experience now.......

Well guys, I've just spent the whole w/end playing MOH and it's is very good, only one criticism, 3 days long? It's a tad short and could have done with a couple more missions just to pad it out, Must agree with Arris ont he Omaha beach and Snipers last stand missions easily the best levels I have ever played in a game since I started, (back in the days of the ZX81!!!! )
Tried Ghost Recon and it too seems to be excellent maybe now I can give it more time and see exactly what it's got to offer!!!

    thanks for all the feedback!

I'm currently in a snowy forest getting shot by lots of artic camo'd snipers... How much of the game is left after that?

    not far...
but i may get shot if i told you what lies ahead... ;)

about ghost recon, one good thing is that you could try lots of different strategies. the more you try, the more fun the game is.

Man...Ghost Recon was the best game I've ever played! And the best sound I've ever heard...First time I played it, on the first mission, it took me about 8 tries to complete it (gahh! The AI frickin' FLANKED MY SNIPER!), and I almost got shellshock. This game is so realistic...I can't even tell you how much I loved it. The last mission was the worst day of my gaming career...So I played through it again. And again. And then on Elite  It's almost impossible on Elite. (Note the impossible I beat it last Tuesday in Elite.) I can't say enough good things about Ghost Recon. It's definitely one of the best games I've ever played. The sound was stunning, it's one of the many reasons to go out and buy a shiny new Audigy :D And best of all, I never had one crash occur with that game. It runs a very tight code, thus the load times are on par with Max Payne. (at least for me...) No wonder it got Game of the Year. It deserved it 100%.

    Ghost Recon

Well, I've given ghost Recon a shot for online play and I must admit to being impressed, It's a lot deeper than MOH, with tactics coming to the fore a lot more.
MOH didn't take advantage of the undercover sections enough, you could blow your cover within 30 second and still charge in Rambo like and successfully complete the mission.
I liked the Deptha nd level of realism in Ghost Recon. And to think I would've completely ignored it if it weren't for 3DS!!!!!!
