    Hello all,
I have been using my PC to keep my website updated, and have regularly been updating the site. Last week I tried to update few files, and doubleclicked on the site link in "my network places" It gave me a message that said

windows cannot access the folder. Make sure you typed the name correctly and that you have permission to access the files.
    The FTP session was terminated
I have also tried to use dreamweaver to update the site for no use.
    Please help.
    Akshay

    Launch a command prompt & try ftp <website url>.

A lot of hosting sites are starting to disable FTP uploads & force you to do it through web-interfaces.[IMG]

You could simply check your webhosting site & see if they don't have a server status section. It could be that their FTP service is down for maintenance or upgrade, or that they simply decided to stop the FTP service.
